Once the fender was done it was onto the exhaust system. Nadine was very specific that she liked the look of wrapped pipes so black wrap it was.

The pipes had to clear the transmission clutch cover which had now been moved out because of the reverse gear installation. Here are few pics of the reverse handle and the exhaust moved out to miss it.

The exhaust had to turn down a bit as well so as to not be shooting directly at the rear end. I used a set of old school shorty mufflers, only 12"long.Since I had to fabricate saddlebag mounts I had to also allow for the movement in the rubber mount engine set up. Change on thing....move three more..ha ha
